My view of the world of beers has expanded tremendously through the Beer Sommelier training at the German Beer Academy.

The Beer Academy team, with their incredible expertise and passion, has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. On top of that, wonderful friendships have developed that go far beyond the seminar itself.

I am more passionate about beer than ever before. As a homebrewer, the knowledge I’ve gained will help me to try out completely new things.

A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful team! The Beer Sommelier training was my absolute highlight of 2022. My view of the world of beers has broadened enormously, as tasting a wide variety of beer styles allowed me to sharpen my sensory skills. I am now able to identify and describe aromas with precision.

I would even say that the course has added a new level of quality to my life: I now engage much more deeply with aromas and scents when it comes to food, and I simply enjoy everything with greater awareness.

The course provided an all-inclusive package of learning materials, methods, and classes. Instead of just receiving ready-made content, we also gained the skills to deal with the many challenges in the Beer Sommelier field.

It’s incredible how quickly these weeks have passed and that we can now call ourselves International Beer Sommeliers. The engaging, intensive, and incredibly exciting training we experienced through the instructors was a wonderful journey for me.

The online course was a great enrichment of knowledge and a lot of fun. Of course, it required a significant time investment, but as my knowledge grew week by week, it became even more enjoyable to add new things to my portfolio each time.

I can only echo the words of my fellow participants. This expansion of knowledge has not only brought me great personal joy but has also provided a concrete foundation for business ideas at our country hotel. Beer tastings for restaurant guests (also together with fellow sommeliers from the course), brewing workshops with tastings, brewery visits as weekend packages, and ultimately staff training as well as conveying expertise to our guests are now all possible.

I was positively surprised at how well the training worked, even though it was designed as a purely online program. The topic of beer—endless horizons! The instructors guided us safely through the beer universe and presented this seemingly inexhaustible subject in a well-structured and professional way.
